This is a program that will play a sound when the Macintosh is started.
Every weekday has it's own sound, so if you on every Monday wants to hear ”Manic Monday” when you turn it on, then this is the way to do it.

This is my first try to make an INIT for the Macintosh. I have no idea if it will work on all kind of Macintosh models and systems. I know, however, that it requiers System 7 (I'm too lazy not to - and everyone is using System 7, right?).
The program is fairly simple. Put in on top of the System folder (not inside the open folder), choose it from the Conrol Panel and enjoy.
The rest of this text is also available from inside the program, so don't read this, open the program (acutally it's a control panel) instead. But it you don't dare to do that yet, here is what you will read inside the help window.
• Place this file in the Control Panel folder. Just drop it on top of the System Folder and it gets to the right place. (You are using System 7, I hope, otherwise you're out of luck!)
• Open the ’Weekday Sound’ control panel and check the days you want a sound to be played. If you leave a day unchecked, then no sound will be played that day.
• Choose the sound file you want to hear by clicking on the (becoming) filename.
• Make sure that the sound files are the same kind of files that you will find in the System file under System 7 to play error sounds.
• You can click on the weekday name to test the sound.
